Sports for Children only brings good!
We can collect even more sports and play equipment from schools and communities in The Netherlands, repair more, and donate it to children abroad, bringing joy to even more kids!
It’s a win-win: we prevent good, usable second-hand sports equipment from ending up in the landfill, while also contributing to the health and happiness of children in areas around the world where sports equipment is scarce.

Our Foundation, a Special Initiative
Our key partner, Janssen-Fritsen, is the initiator of Sports for Children. The family-owned company wanted to make a meaningful social impact and laid the foundation for our work.
Because Janssen-Fritsen conducts safety inspections and maintenance at locations across The Netherlands, they know which sports equipment and accessories are no longer usable. These items are donated to Sports for Children.
Our Volunteers Are Invaluable!
The volunteers of our foundation handle the collection, refurbishment, and transport of still-usable sports and play equipment to many countries worldwide, where schools, communities, and sports clubs have no budget for this.
