About this project
Joy, enthusiasm, and motivation were evident among the athletes, coaches, and administration of CD Leída Ricardo Rojas as they saw all the sports, play, and athletics equipment arrive from the truck.
The donation from The Netherlands was initiated by Cuba Adelante Foundation in Nederweert-Eind. The foundation allocated the sports equipment to INDER, the national Institute for Sport, Physical Education, and Recreation in Cuba, responsible for the development of sports, physical education, and recreation throughout the country.
In consultation with Cuba Adelante Foundation and Sports for Children, INDER distributed several pieces of gym equipment to five additional destinations.
A dream comes true!
It is now in the hands of teachers and children to use the sports equipment effectively and improve athletic outcomes in Banes community!
