About this project
During a two-day kick-off meeting in an inspiring Sports hotel, we exchanged ideas about gymnastisch education with sis partners. They visited the location of the Sports for Children Foundation to inspect the available gym equipment and help determine which sports materials could be refurbished.
Together, we made important decisions about the logistics and specific allocations of the second-chance sports materials after taking stock of all the wishes, requirements and ambitions of the schools, sports clubs, and partners in the short and long term.
With that, the management phase of the Regym project has been completed. Thanks to the sponsorship from the Erasmus+ program of the European Union, we can, under the leadership of the Creation Gymnastics Federation, organize the transport of three trucks of sports and game materials. The schools and sports clubs will share knowledge and practice together.
The first truck has been unloaded and sports activities are already being enthusiastically carried out!
The Erasmus+ program is an initiative of the European Union that provides support for education, training, and sport in Europe for young people. It runs from 2021 to 20227 and places strong emphasis on social inclusion, green and digital transitions, and youth participation in democratic life.
Erasmus+ offers opportunities for young people to study and work abroad or to participate in international cooperation projects, regardless of their age. With an estimated budget of 26.2 billion euros, the program has nearly doubled compared to the previous one.
We ensure that the new location is equipped with safe, complete, and fully functional sports equipment.
